Queen Choker Crochet Pattern
The Queen Choker is crocheted in one continuous piece. Intermediate skills are recommended. Pattern is for one size fits most adults, however pattern can be adjusted to fit any neck size (see last page for details). Pattern in this blog post is written in U.S terms.
What You’ll Need:
3 ply Crochet Cotton in desired colour (I use Milford Soft from Spotlight)
2mm Crochet Hook
Stitch Marker (I use a bobby pin)
Single Crochet (sc)
Double Crochet (dc)
Ch 65 (tie length – Can be longer or shorter depending on personal preference.) place marker in 65th ch. Ch another 74 (138)
- Skip 1st ch and sc into every stitch, up until stitch marker (Do not crochet into ch with st marker) Ch 4, turn. (74)
Row 2 –
(Ch 4 counts as first dc and ch) Skip one st, dc in next st. *Ch 1, skip one st and dc in next stitch. Repeat from * to * until end of row. Ch 1, turn. (74 including chains)
Row 3 -
(Ch 1 from previous row does not count as first sc) *sc in dc, sc in ch space* repeat from * to * until end of row. Ch 1, turn. (74)
Row 4 –
(Ch 1 counts as first sc) *Skip 2 st, 3 dc in next st, ch 2, slip st into top of 3rd dc, 3 dc in same st as first 3 dc (picot). Skip 2 st, sc in next st.* Repeat from * to * until end of row .
Slip stitch up side, to the top of choker, ch 65 (tie).
Finish off, knot both ends of ties.
